After 2 years working together for other companies as trekking guides, we created our own agency in May 2010 : "AL MAALAM TOURS".

Our office is located in Nizwa, old city which has long been the capital of the country, and remains the cultural capital of the interior of Oman.

Itss location at the foot of the mountans on the interior side makes the ciy an important center : People from the mountain and from the desert meet their.

This location is also great for our activity : Mountain and desert are very near and Muscat is only 1 hour drive away.
